about

"Pedestrians," the third release by Autohypnosis, is a departure from the electronic pop/rock of the previous two releases, "The Surface" and "Conversation (in) Pieces." Not only is "Pedestrians" completely instrumental, it eschews all pop/rock conventions in favor of lush electronic atmospherics, and consists of 10 ambient pieces, each exactly one hour long. At 10 hours, the film-score-like "Pedestrians" can serve as a personal soundtrack for a day of work or a night of sleep.

"Pedestrians" is recommended for fans of Brian Eno, Cliff Martinez, Dilate, Steve Roach, Sigur Rós, Tycho, Patrick O'Hearn, Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Darshan Ambient, and David Lynch and Dean Hurley.
